Sometimes it's so easy to forget what's right in your backyard.  Ever since my junior year of high school I've been mesmerized by the artistic works of the Impressionist era.  Lucky for me, I have wound up living in Chicago, just three "El" stops away from The Art Institute of Chicago.  The Museum just happens to house the second largest collection of Impressionist pieces.  Not having much to do with my Sunday, I made the short track and once again became entranced with the colors, strokes, and stories of these beautiful works of art.  The wonderful thing about The Art Institute, as is the case with most museums, is that you can easily find yourself completely immersed with just one question: "Why?"  It's a fun thing to be so curious.  Because when you find those things that catch your eye, and then get you to wonder, they eventually become part of your knowledge, and potentially your style.  And well, when you have an expansive style that's just everything.
