A Little Opinion Never Hurt Anyone, But...

It's true that everyone is entitled to their opinion. In no other arena is this entitlement taken for granted more than in politics. In recent months we the public have been overwhelmed by opinions from across the political spectrum, the national media, and even the world media. Without divulging much more of my own opinion (I know, this rarely happens) I encourage everyone from every stance of views to read this commentary, by New York Times columnist, Thomas Friedman. Friedman brilliantly writes a non-partisan plea for cooperation, acceptance, and collaboration. This column should at the very least be taken under consideration by every citizen in this country, and elsewhere no matter their political beliefs. Why? Because the best way to get your opinion heard is to listen to others' and learn.

No More "We," by Thomas Friedman

"You can please all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you can't please all the people all the time." --Abraham Lincoln (R)
