Shoebox of Photographs

It has come to my attention that I have a large pictorial collection from my college years and beyond. Unfortunately they all exist in the cyber world of Facebook. I have no tangible object to flip through if ever I should want to reminisce. In the olden days of film rolls, I used to rush to my local Walgreens or Wolf Camera to get my pictures developed in an hour or less. How things change in a digital age. Nowadays pictures cost just a few coins per print, and most photo developing retailers run countless sales and deals in addition. I have thus made it a point to get one order of prints a months and attempt to catch up on my archiving. While I always get a slight twinge in my heart looking back at so many laughs that have now become treasured moments, it has always served as a great reminder. You may not be able to go back in time, but you can certainly go back to the snapshots of it.

Here are just a few of my favorite images from January's order that were printed by Snapfish:

Emilie, Margaret, and Nicole at Dolce on NYE '07/'08

The night Margaret and I couldn't escape being twins on our adventures

Steph, Brooke, and I on our first "Cousins Night Out" at The Drunken Fish

Running into old friends like Nora at Harpo's on a Thursday night is always fun. What makes this picture priceless though is the couple about to go at it in the background.

This picture of my good friends Lauren, Katie, Anna, and Julie taken at Big 12, has "sorority girls" written all over it.
