For the most tapestries don't get enough credit.  They're seen as either too hippy or the other extreme, too uptight.  Really though they can be quite the spruce to any wall.  Functional as temporary wallpaper or to cover up some sore spots, or artful to provoke thought or creativity to your space.  They're not to be used lightly, but don't let yourself believe the stereotype either!

The Great Outdoors

My expertise in the outdoors does not go very far.  Just to the nearest indoor plumbing facility, in fact.  That does not mean though I would not be prepared a pursuit out to the woods.  One must always wear socks to protect from those...whatever, those prickly things that stick are.  Lunch should always come from a charcoal grill.  Then of course you'll need to pack a thick blanket for watching the stars and stripes.  So you see?  Still a scout at heart.

When's a Good Time

Summer Question #1:  When is it appropriate to where a maxi dress?

Well, I'm glad you asked.  It's a perfectly good time to wear one when...

• It's 75 degrees or cooler.  No higher or you look like you're trying to make a statement.
• When you have the legs.  This dress was not designed for long torsos, short legs.  But the crop top was.
• When three or more people are not wearing identical floor length dresses.  If you're thinking weddings then you, ma'am, are correct.  Other peoples' occasions are not yours for wearing this genre of dress.
• There's less.  A lot of fabric is already adorning this dress.  Don't overkill it.
• In a garden.  They always seem to look good amongst botanical settings.  Don't ask why.
• When you're supremely confident in the maxi of choice.  As any good article of clothing is always worn best as.

Time to Be Mini!
