Time to Read Good Books

Since a little before I can remember I've been an avid reader.  However, sometimes you hit a slow patch with a book that can make it challenging to keep turning the pages.  That was the situation I hit with my current book, a Doris Day biography.  Biographies are one of my favorite literary genres, but they can often times be challenging due to their length and frequent lulls of plot, or lack there of.  Of course this isn't my first struggle to get to the last page.  Never one to completely forfeit a book (because you never know where the story will get you), I've found the best trick to curb such a task is to purchase a new one.  With a couple new titles sitting patiently on my shelf that I can't wait to dive into, it's now become harder to put my current read down.  So if you find yourself in a rut, look no further than your nearest mega-bookstore.  Then send your recommendations along to me!
