When you want to see the whole wide world it's hard to figure out where to start. Fortunately my budget gives me enough constraints. For the time being though I've found the best plan of action is to alternate. One new place in the U.S. every other year, and one new place abroad in the others. Then of course fit side trips in whenever possible. I was fortunate in 2010 when the Icelandic volcano postponed my French vacation to August, while in the mean time rerouting for a visit to D.C. This year I'll be hitting the slopes of Utah for the first time, and cannot wait. In 2012 though I'm making sure that I finally take in the beauty of the Patagonia, the culture and vibrancy of Buenos Aires, and all the other wonderful sights that make up Argentina. Then after that? We'll see where the map takes me!
