Now do you really think I could hate this film? Still on a high from reading the book, I was absolutely thrilled to receive sneak preview passes from my stepmom. As far as adaptations go, this movie did great justice to a phenomenal book about an emotional journey. When you have such stunning backdrops, a stellar cast (Javier Bardem being key), and an A+ soundtrack it's hard to take issue with anything else. See the movie, but make your dinner plans beforehand and be sure to order appetizers and dessert. You may not be able to make it past Italy without doing so.
